Oral histories: memories of the hall

Documents and photographs only tell you so much — the rest lives in the memories of people who were actually there, and we'd rather record those while we still can.
We're starting to gather short recorded conversations with longtime residents: what the hall was used for, who ran it, what it felt like on a Saturday night in the 1960s. No pressure, no formality — just a cup of tea and a recorder.
If you (or someone you know) has memories of the hall going back decades and wouldn't mind sharing them, get in touch — we'd love to add your account to the archive.
